Our History
With over 39 years of experience in the motorcycle industry, FOX VALLEY CYCLES has the expertise to serve all your cycle needs. As an authorized HONDA dealer, we carry the full line of Honda Motorcycles, ATV's, Scooters, Personal Watercraft and Power Equipment! We also carry a fine selection of Pre-owned Motorcycles in all makes and models.
Bob Conley - Owner - Bob came to work at Fox Valley Cycles in October 1970. He's been here ever since! Starting as a mechanic, he's done every job in the dealership. Bob likes to ride dirt bikes with his sons and friends out at Fox Valley Off Road in Wedron. He also loves to get on his Gold Wing and just chalk up the miles!
Mark Pawelski - Sales Manager - Mark has been with us since 1993. He has worked full and part time during this period. While working part time for us, Mark was a store manager for Osco Drug. His retail and organizational skills are invaluable. After some time, Mark realized (just like Bob did over 35 years ago!) that the big corporate world was not for him. He has been back full time since May of 2003 and his knowledge of motorcycles is unbelievable! As are his deals!
Chris Tracy - General Manager -
Chris is the daughter of owner, Bob Conley. She, like her brother, John, has been working here since she was a small child.
Chris rode a scooter while she was attending Northern Illinois University, and has also graduated from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Course. With three small children (who are at Fox Valley Cycles everyday) she doesn't have time for street riding, but ATVs and dirt bikes are given a whirl at our friend's farm on weekends.
Chris runs the office and oversees all aspects of the business. Bob, her dad, just thinks he manages the business. The real manager is Chris!
Mark Alsip - Service Manager - Mark started his career in motorcycles right out of high school in 1991. He graduated from AMI in 1994, #1 in his class! He joined us here at Fox Valley Cycles in April of 2006 and has been a great asset to our Service Deparment. If you need service...give Mark a call!
John Conley - Sales -
John is the son of Bob Conley, the owner of Fox Valley Cycles. He started dumping trash cans at the dealership when he was 5 years old. With 30 years of experience, he has literally learned the business from the ground up!
John races motocross on a CRF450R. He carries #160. Look for him in the Megacross Series at Mendota, Illinois, and the Arena Cross Series here in the Midwest.
Michelle - Parts & Accessories Manager -
Chell started in 1994 here at Fox Valley Cycles. Before working in the motorcycle industry, she was involved in the automotive business.
Chell's knowledge of parts and accessories will simply amaze you! Besides that she's just a great person to talk to and deal with. Ask any Fox Valley Cycles customer about our dealership and the first thing they will probably say is how great Michelle is to deal with.
Jim Cromwell - Senior Technician -
A 1987 graduate of MMI, Jim has been turning a wrench on motorcycles for over 22 years.
"Besides being very laid back and easy going, Jim is the best wrench I've ever had at Fox Valley Cycles," says owner, Bob Conley.
